Catch up on news from STC Summit 2019

The STC’s annual conference happened earlier this month in Denver, Colorado, and some useful write-ups are starting to emerge for the technical communication community. The STC Summit is celebrating its 66th anniversary in 2019 and the event attracted 750 attendees to both the expo and the 100 educational sessions over two days. Conference tracks included: Content Design and Delivery; Tools and Technologies; Training Development and Delivery; Project Management, Leadership, and Career Development.

Sarah Maddox has posted useful notes from 10 of the sessions she attended, from ‘Compassionate technical writing’ to ‘The trending value of tech knowledge’ and ‘How analytics can change your world’. She also presented at the Summit on open source documentation.
