Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a skilled Technical Communicator to join their team in Aix-en-Provence, France.

In this role, you’ll be able to leverage your technical writing experience to learn customer success management skills. As a Technical Communicator for Customer Success Management, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that their clients and partners maximise their experience with our client’s structured content products.


  • Develop a deep understanding of our structured content management solutions, including the CCMS and content review platform. (They provide deep product training!)
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including support, product, and sales, to ensure alignment with client projects and success.
  • Train clients on product features and best practises.
  • Enhance documentation and support tools to improve the overall user experience.
  • Address support queries related to technical writing, DITA, or the DITA Open Toolkit.
  • Implement customer satisfaction measurement tools and gather feedback for continuous improvement.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Technical Communication.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, with a strong focus on structured authoring and DITA XML.
  • Willingness to transition technical writing skills into customer success management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with clients.
  • Previous experience with a Component Content Management System (CCMS) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English — French language skills are a plus.
  • European, UK, or North American citizenship.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Aix-en-Provence, France, two days a week (this isn’t negotiable).
